A video or audio presence is becoming essential in order for businesses to stay in front of competitors. Investing in a good quality video content can be expensive but audio could be a good alternative for staying noticed and at the fraction of the price. You may also find that the sound from the tie mic does not reach your laptop. Have a methodical approach for making sure everything works. This means things like checking that you all the leads connect properly. What about batteries, are they charged?
You can now check your mixer. If you can hear the sound going through the mixer by listening on your headphone, then you are halfway there. You will then need to check your settings on the audio control panel of your computer to make sure they are set to accept the mixer. And then you are ready to go, just press record on your audio software program.
